Career highlights: 

Alisha is a Partner in Mazars USA LLP, a top 25 accounting firm. Alisha has an entrepreneurial spirit that allows her to build new business and expand the services of existing clients. 

Alisha specializes in business advisory, strategic planning, financial reporting and tax services, and serves privately owned businesses.  She has grown her career at Mazars starting as a staff accountant in 2013, and quickly rising through the ranks and becoming one of the youngest partners in Mazars history in September 2020. Alisha’s professional experience are myriad, but some of her professional highlights include:

  • Being a curriculum leader, instructor and career coach for her firms learning and development programs, including global Mazars training programs; and in talent recruitment
  • Deepening her client relationships and contributing to topline revenue growth by executing on innovative advisory strategies and generating new business leads
  • Involvement with prospecting, targeting and in writing and delivering on new business proposals

    What are you doing to make a difference in the profession, your community, the world?

    Professionally, Alisha is a member of the NJCPA Ocean/Monmouth Board of Directors, part of the Student Programs and Scholarships Committee. Additionally, she recently completed a four-year term as student mentor. 

    Personally, Alisha dedicates time with her family to various charitable organizations Multiple Scleroses, Cancer and Suicide Prevention; all of which are near and dear to her heart.  Alisha’s family has formed a team for Walk MS and their team has raised more than $16,000 annually.  Alisha walks with her husband, their German Shepherd and is surrounding by family members in walking for MS and Suicide Prevention each year.

    What do you like best about the accounting profession?

    Having the ability to make a difference for privately owned business owners by acting as their trusted advisor and thinking beyond just the numbers to understand their holistic goals, objectives and collaborating to develop a plan for long-term successes.
