Tax Season Halftime Show Gives Firms a Break, Plus Chances at Prizes
The event was developed to offer firms and their staff a much-needed mid-season break, complete with high-value prizes and inspiring sideline reports from peer firms across the country.

Rootworks, an accounting firm-improvement organization, has launched the tax and accounting profession’s first live-webcast Tax Season Halftime Show.
The event takes place on Friday, March 19, 2021 from 2:00-2:30 p.m. ET. The event was developed to offer firms and their staff a much-needed mid-season break, complete with high-value prizes and inspiring sideline reports from peer firms across the country.
“We know it’s been a very tough year for firm owners and staff, so we wanted to do something special for them. Our Tax Season Halftime Show offers an entertaining and prize-filled virtual celebration that allows accounting professionals to take a deep breath and join in on some fun—together,” said John Mitchell, Chief Brand Officer and expert on building a positive work culture.
The core goal is to infuse a little added fun into firms and help re-energize and inspire partners and staff. It’s a packed event with:
- Nearly $20,000 in giveaways for both firms and individual staff members
- Sideline reports with firms from across the country—offering insight on what others are doing to make tax season less taxing
- Motivational pep talks from well-known thought leaders
- The break every firm needs as they enter the busiest time of year
