The Center for Audit Quality (CAQ) is organizing the third annual profession-wide social media blitz to inform students and young professionals of the many benefits of a career in audit. On September 28, using #AuditorProud, auditors around the world will take to social media channels to share personal stories of why they chose a career in auditing, what they love about the profession, and what makes them proud to be an auditor.

“Today more than ever, auditing has so much to offer,” said Deloitte CEO and CAQ Governing Board Chair Cathy Engelbert.  “It’s a profession that’s evolving. It combines the language of business and critical thinking with data analytics and artificial intelligence. So, the future of work isn’t just coming – it’s here now in a career that can offer professional growth, workplace flexibility, and the chance to advise leaders of iconic businesses around the world.”

For 2017, the CAQ is also inviting high school and college students who are interested in careers in audit to participate in the #FutureAuditor contest. Students can upload a selfie, photo, or post with #FutureAuditor showing why they are interested in audit.
