I had a really solid 15 year career in public accounting. In February 2017, our practice was sold and I made a huge shift in my career to become a part of the Association. Having been a very active volunteer with AICPA in the past, it has been a great experience helping firms as a member of the Association team, rather than as a professional volunteer. This opportunity allowed me to channel a lot of professional passions into my career.
As a member of the Association Firm Services team, I have a chance to proactively and positively improve CPA firms around the country by sharing best practices with them and helping them with the practice management issues they struggle with. I also enjoy speaking at firms and meetings nationally to help elevate CPA firms to a firm of the future.
