At PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), I gained experience in IFRS, GAAP, and Non-Profit accounting. I managed due diligence for client acquisitions and helped a client spin-off part of its business. I also served as a Corporate Responsibility Champion and planned philanthropic events for our employees and clients.

At ArrowStream, I serve on the Executive Leadership Team, where I have gained experience in accounting, finance, contract negotiations, human resources, and IT. I completed the due diligence for selling the company to a private equity firm, Diversis, in January 2017. I care about the development of our people and have taught classes for our employees and led our Toastmasters organization to promote communication and leadership skills.

I love writing articles and am the Ethics Columnist for INSIGHT Magazine. I also enjoy teaching ethics lessons and communication skills at conferences because both are vital to the reputation and future of the profession.

I work with my church and company to serve others in the community. My passions are for children and the homeless. I volunteer for Cardz for Kidz, Connections for Abused Women and their Children (CAWC), Chicago Food Depository, Street Reach, and By the Hand. I am also on the Board of Swing for Kids, which empowers kids through swing dance.

One of my favorite days of the year is Illinois CPA Day of Service. I enjoy helping others enhance their financial literacy, improve their résumé writing, and develop their professional skills.
