I started my career on Wall Street at Sanford C. Bernstein working as a portfolio manager before earning my MBA at the NYU Stern School of Business.  Post NYU I joined Thomson Reuters where I have enjoyed a diverse career spanning senior finance and operations roles across each of the company’s business units including two years in London where I helped launch the company’s flagship financial insight and analysis tool Eikon.  A key highlight in my career is my role on the Investor Relations team where I sat side-by-side with the Thomson Reuters CEO and CFO sharing the company’s story and vision to analysts, investors and partners.  As it relates to tax, I’m proud of my role in helping shape the ONESOURCE business as it exists today, bringing together the best point solutions to form the most complete corporate tax technology platform on the market.

Outside of empowering the great minds of the ONESOURCE business to advance tax technology forward, I enjoy volunteering my time providing great experiences for my three young boys and their friends in my home town.  I coach Little League baseball and serve as the pack leader for one of the local chapters of cub scouts.  I also volunteer on the local board of my village with the hope of driving a greater conversation amongst residents on what drives opportunity for everyone and how best to position the village for the next generation.

Favorite influencer(s) (authors, bloggers, mentors, speakers, etc.)

I’m fascinated by big thinkers who seize the moment.  Jeff Bezos and Amazon Web Services is a perfect example.  Struggling to keep pace with extraordinary growth, Amazon embarked on a major initiative to build internal systems to scale.  Those systems laid the groundwork for a commercial opportunity that now drives the profitability of the company.  I also find motivation in CEOs that place social change on their personal and professional agendas, Mark Zuckerberg comes to mind.  Within TR, a key motivator for me is our Foundation which advances thought leadership on women’s rights, modern slavery and Climate & Resilience issues.
