Kashoo is a cloud based accounting application designed for small businesses. Kashoo conveniently offers both iPhone and Android apps, so users can access the program from anywhere.
Invoicing an item in Kashoo is easy, with invoice entry completed from the Invoices page. Users would choose the customer(s) to invoice, and then complete the rest of the fields. Users have the option to set up default accounts and payments terms for each client reducing the number of clicks to create invoices for repeat customers. Users can set up an invoice in Kashoo as a repeating invoice by simply clicking the Repeat box and choosing the frequency desired which include daily, weekly, monthly, or annually.
Kashoo offers users customizable invoice templates, with the ability to upload a company logo for display on the invoice. Users can easily customize an invoice by simply click on an existing transaction in Kashoo, and then choose the template desired in order to complete the invoicing process. Invoices can be previewed in the application prior to saving, and once saved, can be exported or saved as a PDF.
Kashoo accepts online credit card payments through BluePay and Stripe. Choosing one if these apps will allow users to easily invoice customers electronically and accept online payments as well and users can indicate that credit card payments are allowed on the invoice as well by choosing the optional service that is being used. Users will instantly be notified via email when a payment is made and the transaction will be updated appropriately. There is no method to create an estimate or a quote for a potential customer.
There is no direct way to add late fees or apply discounts to customer records, so these transactions will have to be processed manually. There are two types of customer statements available including the activity statement and the summary statement. Users simply access the clients list and choose which should receive a statement. Sales tax is tracked and automatically charged to an invoice when indicated in the client setup screen.
Kashoo offers excellent multi-currency functionality, so users can easily invoice and accept client payments in multiple currencies. A report is available that calculates and displays differences in payments based on currency types. The Unpaid Invoices report provides users with all invoices that are due, with drill-down capability provided. All Kashoo reports can be viewed on screen, printed, exported to Excel or a CSV file, saved as an HTML file or PDF, or sent to Google Drive.
Kashoo offers a completely integrated accounting application, so all features within the system work together well. The product also offers integration with numerous banks and credit card companies, has a payroll app, and also offers integration with online credit card processing apps.
Kashoo is designed for the small business owner that desired flexibility and accessibility at any given moment. Pricing for Kashoo is $19.95 per month or can pay $199.95 annually, with both subscriptions offering access to all web, iPhone, iPad, and Android features.
