The accounting firm WeiserMazars LLP is expanding its business valuation advisory services practice, and has named new partner Bruce Richman to lead the practice section. He  will be based out of the firm’s Chicago office. The expanded practice will provide cross-industry expertise to all of the firm’s clients, assisting them with decision-critical insight.

“We are enormously pleased to have Bruce join us to lead this important practice group,” said WeiserMazars chairman and CEO Victor Wahba. “In today’s global markets, effective valuation services are extremely important to our existing clients and the business community at large. We are proactive in building deep professional resources in this area as part of Project Century, our ongoing growth plan.”

The Business Valuation Advisory Services Practice will initially be based out of our centers of excellence located in New York and Chicago. The objective of which is to enhance the firm’s reputation in this area and extend these resources nationally over the course of the next few years in positioning WeiserMazars as a pre-eminent name in valuation services.

For over 30 years, Bruce has been actively involved in business valuations, mergers and acquisitions and other financial and tax consulting matters. He currently handles various corporate valuation projects and forensic/litigation assignments for U.S. clients – both nationally and internationally. He works with both private equity sponsors and individual corporate owners.
