Wahba Elected Chairman of Accounting Firm WeiserMazars
The global accounting, tax and consulting firm of WeiserMazars LLP has elected CEO Victor Wahba as chairman of the firm effective January 1, 2016, succeeding Douglas A. Phillips who becomes a Senior Advisor to the firm.

The global accounting, tax and consulting firm of WeiserMazars LLP has elected CEO Victor Wahba as chairman of the firm effective January 1, 2016, succeeding Douglas A. Phillips who becomes a Senior Advisor to the firm.
Wahba was appointed Chief Executive Officer in April 2015 as part of the firm’s leadership succession plan. He was the New York Office Managing Partner, has been a member of the firm’s Executive Committee for nearly a decade, and helped implement the firm’s strategic plans.
“I am pleased to turn over the leadership reins of WeiserMazars to Victor, with whom I have worked closely for many years and have developed great respect for his judgment and commitment to the firm’s values,” said Phillips, the former chairman of WeiserMazars. “He has played a critical role in helping the firm plan and execute on its growth strategy – both nationally and internationally. Victor truly embodies the teamwork and collaborative approach that has become the firm’s hallmark.”

As Co-CEO of Mazars Group’s Global Executive Board, Wahba participates in the development of the global strategy with his extensive experience in finance and operations.
