Intuit has announced the second annual QuickBooks Connect conference will be held in San Jose, California, on November 2. Last year, the inaugural event brought together nearly 4,000 entrepreneurs, small businesses, accounting professionals and developers in an immersive, inspiring and rewarding experience designed to help attendees take their businesses to the next level.

Building on the success of last year’s event, Intuit will host its second annual QuickBooks Connect conference at the San Jose Convention Center from Nov. 2-4. Once again, it will feature thought-provoking main stage and breakout session speakers to help attendees garner insights to grow and learn, as well as experiences that foster creativity and inspire. The event will create opportunities for attendees to connect and collaborate with fellow business leaders who work in the QuickBooks ecosystem.

“Standing on stage last year and feeling the energy in the room, I knew that we had captured lightening in a bottle. We’re excited to host year two of this breakthrough event,” said Dan Wernikoff, senior vice president and general manager of Intuit’s Small Business Group. “It’s a unique brand of conference that only we could offer such a diverse audience in one event. There is no better use of time than to spend one, two or three days experiencing the magic of having access to all the people, knowledge and inspiration you need to succeed in one place at the same time.”

Last year, QuickBooks Connect featured a robust agenda and a main stage experience that included inspiring celebrity entrepreneurs like Martha Stewart, Earvin “Magic” Johnson, Arianna Huffington, Marc Andreessen and Bill Rancic. Breakout sessions offered attendees everything from speed mentoring services, access to leading business journalists, innovation workshops, QuickBooks Online Advanced Certification training and a 36-hour hackathon culminating in $100,000 in prizes. “QuickBooks Connect was a first-class event – second to none. It was inspirational, motivational, educational, futuristic and customer focused,” said Gary Boomer, CEO of Boomer Consulting, Inc. in Manhattan, KS. “It brought the entrepreneurial ecosystem together in a great venue for a great experience.”
