Avalara has partnered with AccountMate and their channel partners to provide customers with sales tax solutions designed to manage complicated and burdensome tax compliance obligations imposed by state, local, and other taxing authorities in the U.S. and internationally. Avalara is a developer of cloud-based software that delivers a broad array of compliance solutions related to sales tax and other transactional taxes.

Specifically, AccountMate now integrates Avalara’s software as a service (SaaS) offering for sales tax management directly into its own application. As a result, customers can now use Avalara’s AvaTax™ capabilities from within AccountMate’s existing workflow to automatically calculate the final sales tax amount on every invoice. This eliminates the tedious work and complexity of calculating taxes across multiple jurisdictions and helps businesses focus on their core offering.

“We’re pleased to join forces with Avalara, a recognized leader in cloud-based sales tax compliance automation,” said David Dierke, AccountMate CEO. “Our partnership will enable our clients to easily manage and remain up-to-date on increasingly complicated tax regulations, allowing them to to focus on their primary expertise.”

“We recognize the value AccountMate brings to its clients, and we are pleased to augment their offerings with our comprehensive compliance solutions,” said Pascal Van Dooren, Chief Revenue Officer at Avalara. “In today’s digital world it just doesn’t make sense to manually manage sales tax, and we’re convinced all sales and use tax will be automated in the coming years.”

Avalara pioneered a service-based compliance platform for sales tax automation and today works within a company’s own financial, billing, ecommerce, or point of sale system to provide an end-to-end suite of transactional tax compliance services for businesses of all sizes.
