Virginia Society of CPAs Partners with Avalara

Avalara and the Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants have reached an agreement where VSCPA members will have unlimited access to up-to-date sales and use tax rules, rates, forms, and related reference resources, to better assist their clients, and/or their employers, in complying with a rapidly changing and complex regulatory environment.

Avalara and the Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants have reached an agreement where VSCPA members will have unlimited access to up-to-date sales and use tax rules, rates, forms, and related reference resources, to better assist their clients, and/or their employers, in complying with a rapidly changing and complex regulatory environment.

Avalara is a developer of automated, online sales tax and compliance systems for businesses. The VSCPA has more than 11,000 members, of which more than 9,200 are individually licensed CPAs who provide financial and related services in the state of Virginia.Under the agreement, VSCPA member accounting firms will also be able to take advantage of specific partnering programs that Avalara will make available to them to help differentiate their professional service offerings.

The complexity of sales and use tax compliance is a challenging problem for all businesses, and all of our members can benefit nicely from easy access to Avalara’s world class expertise in this difficult area.”
