Intuit TaxLink integrates with Intuit Tax Online to provide accounting professionals and the clients they serve a direct connection to communicate and collaborate. The solution allows clients to securely send and receive messages with their accountant, as well as share important tax documents. Clients can upload tax documents in a snap – as easy as taking a picture with their phone – to send documents like W-2s and 1099s.
The app is free to use for clients, and features slick design including slide-out navigation menu and tabs. For accountants, they are able to get information from clients in real time, allowing for increased efficiency and productivity, providing the ability to take on more clients for increased profitability. In addition, accounting professionals can share a .pdf file of clients’ returns for review within the app for immediate feedback, questions or concerns.
The increased collaboration and accessibility ultimately allows for a strengthened the relationship between accounting professionals and clients, and more productive workflow for accountants.
