CPA Exam Scholarship Program Accepting Applications
The second annual Newton D. Becker Scholarship Program is now accepting applications. The scholarship benefits college students who are pursuing the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) credential, and will award more than $200,000 in financial assistance including 20 full CPA Exam Review scholarships (all four parts of the exam), each valued at $3,360, and additional scholarships valued at $1,680.

Becker Professional Education Announces 2nd Annual Newton D. Becker Scholarship Program
The second annual Newton D. Becker Scholarship Program is now accepting applications. The scholarship benefits college students who are pursuing the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) credential, and will award more than $200,000 in financial assistance including 20 full CPA Exam Review scholarships (all four parts of the exam), each valued at $3,360, and additional scholarships valued at $1,680.

Newton D. Becker founded the organization in 1957. He was deeply committed to helping students fulfill their accounting career goals and pioneered a fresh approach to prepare candidates for the CPA Exam. Newton passed away in 2012, and the scholarship program was created in his honor.

Scholarship applications can be submitted through Feb. 5, 2014. Scholarship recipients will be notified on March 3, 2014. Those interested in submitting an application must meet the requirements to sit for the CPA Exam at the time of enrollment in Becker’s CPA Exam Review, demonstrate a financial need and meet other application requirements.
