WeiserMazars Names Abdallah as Senior Advisor

New York-based accounting firm WeiserMazars LLP recently announced that Mahmoud Abdallah, former Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of MISR Insurance Holding Company and Executive Vice President of American Re Group, has been appointed as a Senior Advisor in the WeiserMazars Consulting Practice, effective immediately.

Mr. Abdallah has over 30 years of experience in the insurance industry, including international reinsurance, direct insurance brokering, mergers and acquisitions consulting, private-public globalization initiatives, and privatization of government owned insurance operations. He is a Board member of Validus, HSBC Egypt and the Metropolitan Opera in New York.

Mr. Abdallah has twice served as Chairman of the International Insurance Council, is currently the Managing Partner and Chief Executive Officer of MMA Global Investments and a member of the National Council for Arts and Sciences at George Washington University.
