CCH Sales Tax Office Now Certified for Microsoft Dynamics AX

CCH, a Wolters Kluwer business recently announced Sales Tax Office is now certified for seamless integration with the Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 ERP system. CCH, provider of tax, accounting and audit information software and services, also provides other sales tax solutions for Microsoft Dynamics AX, GP, NAV systems as a Microsoft Certified Gold Partner.

“Earning this certification for Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 is very exciting and really underscores the high level of sophistication and performance Sales Tax Office provides our customers,” said Bruce Krumlauf, CCH Product Line Manager, Corporate Services. “CCH provides an automated solution that eliminates the pain points of complex sales and use tax calculations that’s also compatible with a company’s existing Microsoft solutions and ERP components.”

Sales Tax Office provides users with real-time sales tax calculations for multiple business entities and divisions, ERP modules and ERP systems. The solution integrates with Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 with minimal user interaction and uses the industry-leading tax rate, jurisdiction boundary information and tax calculation rules. It logs all sales tax calculation transactions for monthly liability reporting.

Features of Sales Tax Office include up-to-date CCH rate and taxability data, easy configuration, the ability to establish nexus and jurisdiction, geocoding and spatial analysis based on shipping addresses and order information, line item calculations, tax rule management, consumer use tax processing and built-in exemption management. In addition, users also have access to advice and guidance from CCH expert professional services and solution support.

Testing on the Sales Tax Office integration with Microsoft Dynamics was performed by VeriTest, a Lionbridge Technologies service. Solutions that acquire the certification for Microsoft Dynamics have successfully passed the software test for development quality and compatibility with Microsoft Dynamics. The certification represents Microsoft’s highest standard for partner-developed software.
