Tax and accounting professionals offer many services within the profession, but often times they perform a lot of service outside of the profession in their own neighborhoods and communities. The American Institute of CPAs recognizes these efforts each year with a National Public Service Award for Individuals and a National Public Service Award for Firms. The awards are given to an individual and firm who are members of the AICPA and have participated in public service activities at the local, state, regional or national level.

If you know a firm or individual that has performed a public service act, nominate them today for their exemplary efforts. Nomination forms must be submitted by Friday, October 26, 2012 via email to ldavis@aicpa.org or mail to: Luz Davis, American Institute of CPAs, 1211 Avenue of the Americas, 19th Floor, New York, NY 10036-8775.
