TaxWise Adds BNA Planning & Assets Management

(Georgia) — Universal Tax Systems
(UTS), the developer of TaxWise professional
tax preparation software suite, and
BNA Software have announced an agreement
for UTS to resell selected BNA Software
products as part of the TaxWise suite.
Through the arrangement, UTS will sell
BNA Software’s BNA Income Tax
Planner and BNA Fixed Assets to its
customer base of CPA firms, enrolled
agents and other tax practitioners.“The professional market is increasingly
counting on TaxWise for more complete
solutions to their clients’ needs,
which include individual income tax
planning and fixed asset management,”
said Thomas Hughes, vice president of
sales at UTS. “The BNA products
will provide our CPA clients with the
recognized best-of-breed expertise of
BNA, while continuing to give them the
best and most reasonably priced tax
preparation software in the industry.”Mr.
Hughes noted that the two software lines
are compatible, so that TaxWise tax
preparation users will have a seamless
and integrated solution with the BNA
