CCH To Host First User Conference

Users of CCH Tax and Accounting applications will have the opportunity to learn from industry leaders and their peers at the software vendor’s inaugural user’s conference

Users of CCH Tax and Accounting applications will have the opportunity to learn from industry leaders and their peers at the software vendor’s inaugural user’s conference, to be held at the Westin Kierland Resort and Spa in Scottsdale, Arizona, November 6-9, 2005.

The three-day conference, which will also include interactive educational programming, will bring together industry authorities with tax and accounting professionals from firms of all sizes to discover innovative ways to further strengthen and expand their businesses, according to the company.

“CCH is dedicated to knowing our customers best and serving their needs with the highest quality information and software on the market,” said CCH Tax and Accounting CEO Kevin Robert. “This conference is an extension of that dedication to our customers. Our program has been built from the ground up to ensure attendees of the CCH User Conference 2005 are offered the leading learning experience of its kind.”

The keynote speaker will be Nancy McKinstry, Chairman of the Executive Board of Wolters Kluwer NV, the parent company of CCH. As the CEO of one of the world’s largest providers of information services and software, McKinstry directs all of Wolters Kluwer’s operating divisions, as well as business development, technology and strategy initiatives. Recognized as an international leader in both the business and accounting markets, McKinstry will speak first-hand about the importance of setting a vision for business and the importance of driving a strategic plan.

Keith White, Microsoft’s General Manager for Information Worker Marketing will also address the conference. He is responsible for all marketing and partner activities for Microsoft’s business productivity applications and servers, including Microsoft Office and its tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

CCH Tax and Accounting’s Robert will also speak to attendees. Robert has overseen the continued integration of CCH’s software and information services, delivering customized solutions that are seamlessly woven into customer work processes. Under Robert’s leadership, CCH launched the innovative new CCH@Hand feature in 2004, which was also a recipient of one of The CPA Technology Advisor’s 2005 Tax & Accounting Technology Innovation Awards.
