  • Cabinet NG (www.CabinetNG.com) and EVault (www.EVault.com), both digital document storage and management companies, have partnered to extend the security and availability of Cabinet NG’s automated electronic document management solution with a data protection solution designed for SMB customers with limited IT infrastructure.
  • eTEK International (www.eTEK.net) announced the re-release of the eTEK XPress accounting system, formerly sold as a standalone, single-user version of eTEK Accounting. eTEK XPress will now be sold exclusively as a hosted, full-feature, web-based accounting system for any small to midsize (SMB) business organization.
  • Wolters Kluwer Financial Services (www.Gainskeeper.com) has named Stevie D. Conlon as tax director for its GainsKeeper product family, which provides automated tax-based financial tools and services to financial and tax professionals and individual investors.
  • Sage Software (www.sagesoftware.com) Sage Software has opened registration for Insights 2007, its annual company-wide business partner conference, which will be held May 14-17 at the Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center in Orlando, Fla. For additional information about the conference, visit www.sagesoftwareinsights.com. The company also released the latest version of Sage Fundraising 100, a donor relationship management solution for medium to large nonprofit organizations.
  • Tenrox (www.Tenrox.com) announced the availability of Release 9.1, the latest version of the company’s Project Workforce Management Solution. Release 9.1 includes several of new features including a new Project Planning Module and integration with Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0.

In a memo to employees last month, Amazon said it was “winding down outdated programs and materials” as part of a review of hundreds of initiatives, including ones that had completed their work. The team expected to complete the consolidation by the end of 2024.
