What peers, clients and friends say about Brian:
Brian runs his own successful CPA firm with a staff of eight and always takes
the time to truly understand client needs, and serves as an excellent example
of professionalism to his staff and clients. Even while running a successful
practice, he still finds time to give back to the community and share with his
friends. He is actively involved with his church and coaches his children’s
soccer and baseball teams at competitive levels, which requires travel to matches.
He is very intelligent, caring and understanding. He is a great coach and role
model to others in the community, offers a mentoring program for area accounting
students, and is always very positive and encouraging.

What technology or business process does Brian see affecting the tax
and accounting profession in the next five years?

“The biggest thing over the last few years has been the move to the paperless
office, and I expect that this trend will continue to affect the tax and accounting
profession in the coming years, as well. The technology that supports the paperless
processes will continue to improve, and more and more firms will realize the
incredible amount of time, energy and effort that can be saved. As far as a
business change, the demand for experienced accountants in firms will continue
to rise, even more so than what we see today, as a large portion of the profession
nears retirement.”
