CCH Releases Online CPE Management Solution

Managers can now track CPE goals for accounting and tax professional in their firm with CCH’s newest solution, CPE Assistant.

Managers can now track CPE goals for accounting and tax professional in their firm with CCH’s newest solution. CPE Assistant from CCH, a Wolters Kluwer business, tracks employee progress and deadlines and manages certification expenses, helping professionals save time and increase productivity.

“When we’ve asked our customers about CPE, they’ve told us that lowering administrative costs and having the ability to oversee everyone’s compliance progress in one convenient place are things they want,” said Mark Hevrdejs, Director, CCH Learning/CPE. “Seamless integration between CPE Assistant and CCH Learning Center tremendously simplifies the process of accessing CPE content and tracking certifications to make sure compliance goals are met – whether you are a firm’s learning administrator or an individual tax and accounting professional.”

CPE Assistant identifies the guidelines and requirements for all 50 CPA regulatory groups that mandate CPE, RTRP, EA, CFP, CLE and other certifications. Features of the CPE management solution include:

  • Monitoring CPE hours completed against total hours needed
  • Calculating limits on training formats and topics
  • CCH Learning Center data automatically downloaded into CPE Assistant
  • CPE certificate storage
  • Automated employee status reminder emails
  • Course recommendations from CCH Learning Center

CPE Assistant also allows training administrators to report multiple CPE completions for firm-wide training events. Combined with CCH Learning Center resources, CPE Assistant offers professionals more than 300 self-study training courses.
