Much of the work CCH INCORPORATED (www.tax.cchgroup.com) has put into enhancing its ProSystem fx Tax has focused on strengthening its integration with CCH’s GL Direct, according to marketing manager Jerry Connor. The company wants to give users “the ability to pull trial balance data from virtually any accounting system” into client returns, he said. The company is also improving integration between the tax program and ProSystem fx Practice to enhance project tracking. Other new features for ProSystem fx Tax include the following:
An optional worksheet-based user interface to take advantage of new development tools and technologies, including the ability to group worksheets by category and topic
New input methods on worksheets to provide more intuitive and simplified workflow and reduce the learning curve
Expanded e-filing options that include forms 1041, 1120, 1120s and 2688.
