What’s the one piece of technology that MOST helps you get through
your normal workday?

“Without question, the Internet and e-mail are now part of my core being.
The Internet opens the world up and allows for endless business opportunities.
The mainstream usage of social networking, blogs and online video is only expanding
this reach. I find this rapid expansion exciting, and I cannot wait to see what
the next generation will develop to help augment the world’s massive communication
network.”

What will be the biggest change over the next five years in the ways
tax and accounting firms operate?

“CPA firms have long been trusted authorities to their clients. As a software
firm, we see their reach expanding at substantial rates. From accounting to
technology, the average accountant is providing more and more services and expertise
to their clients. As accountants become more diversified and well versed in
technology offerings, their influence will only continue to escalate.”

What Rebecca’s peers had to say about her:
Rebecca is an intensely motivated professional who cares deeply about the needs
of others, both in professional settings and through her personal community
involvement. She is extremely technologically savvy, and created TGI’s
Software Selection Tool Kit, which is a free offering to assist accountants,
consultants, and end users in evaluating and selecting the best ERP and accounting
software for their company or client. In addition, she has published a number
of articles and writes a blog titled ERP, Etc.
