Top 20 accounting firm Citrin Cooperman has acquired Rosetree Solutions, a Dallas-based consultancy that designs and deploys artificial intelligence systems inside client businesses, effective Oct. 1.
Financial terms of the deal weren’t disclosed.
This is New York City-based Citrin Cooperman’s fourth M&A deal of 2026. In February, it acquired Browne Consulting, a Boston-based firm that provides accounting and other advisory services to the life sciences and biotech sectors. It also acquired Sharff, Wittmer, Kurtz, Jackson & Diaz PC, a Coral Gables, FL-based accounting and advisory firm, in May and LGA, an INSIDE Public Accounting top 200 firm based in Woburn, MA, in July.
Citrin Cooperman has been one of the most aggressive accounting firms making M&A deals in recent years, completing more than 30 acquisitions since 2019, many of them after receiving private equity backing in 2022.

Citrin Cooperman says the transaction accelerates its AI strategy while adding new capabilities to help middle-market businesses move beyond experimenting with AI to applying it across workflows, systems, and business processes.

The national one can rebuild how it operates around AI because it has the resources and access to top talent. The regional distributor needs that same access and an AI plan sized to its business. Rosetree helps us provide that.”
Founded in 2013, Rosetree specializes in connecting AI to the systems a business already runs. Its work spans the front office, how companies market to, sell to, and serve their customers, and connects it to the back-office systems that run finance and operations, giving leaders across the C-suite one connected set of solutions and visibility. Rosetree builds these systems, trains workforces to use AI, and builds autonomous AI agents that work alongside existing teams.
Rosetree is a launch partner of both Anthropic and OpenAI and an inaugural member of Anthropic’s program for small businesses. Salesforce named Rosetree its 2027 Partner of the Year, and it’s a Summit-level Salesforce partner, the top tier of the program.

The acquisition builds on AI work already underway at Citrin Cooperman, with a focus on driving value to clients. In August, Citrin Cooperman engaged Ode, the AI engineering venture formed by Anthropic with Blackstone and others, to accelerate high-impact AI use cases across its tax, accounting, and advisory practices. Additional AI-driven alliances and investments have been announced with Priority Software, Caseware, Intuit, and Tellen.
