Top 75 accounting firm Prager Metis has combined with Sherbert CPA, a full-service CPA firm in Charlotte, NC, that provides accounting, tax, consulting, development, and management services to the real estate tax credit industry.
Financial terms of the deal weren’t disclosed. As part of the combination, Managing Principal Bill Sherbert has joined Prager Metis as a principal, and he and the Sherbert CPA team will relocate to the Prager Metis office in Charlotte.
This is New York City-based Prager Metis’s first M&A deal since January 2024 when it added Asheville, NC-based Goldsmith Molis & Gray, a full-service tax, accounting, payroll, and consulting firm.
