Global financial technology company Intuit announced details this week about the launch of Intuit ProPartner Accountants, a next-generation global program designed to help accounting firms grow, adapt, and deliver higher-value services in the artificial intelligence era.
The new program will succeed the long-standing ProAdvisor Program in early 2027, the Mountain View, CA-based company said on May 19.
Integrated into Intuit Accountant Suite, ProPartner Accountants “reflects a strategic shift from simply keeping pace with industry change to enabling firms to lead through it, particularly as automation and AI reshape traditional accounting workflows,” Intuit said in a media release.
Key highlights of ProPartner Acccountants include:
1. Unified technology and workflow efficiency: ProPartner Accountants is fully integrated into Intuit Accountant Suite, giving firms a centralized platform to manage client data, communications, and insights across accounting, tax, and advisory services. Automation features and real-time visibility are designed to improve efficiency and support faster, more informed decision-making.
2. Enhanced support model for accountants: The program introduces a dedicated, accountant-focused support experience, with specialists certified and trained in accounting workflows. A new Resolution Center within the Accountant Suite provides real-time tracking of support cases, improving transparency and reducing administrative overhead.
3. Expanded revenue opportunities: For U.S. partners, Intuit is extending revenue-sharing opportunities on QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Workforce, Intuit’s new payroll and human capital management offering, from 12 months to up to three years. Top-tier firms may earn up to 25% of net billings, offering a longer-term financial incentive to scale services and invest in advisory capabilities.

4. Continued access to premium tools: Accounting firms will retain access to Intuit’s core software ecosystem, including QuickBooks Online Advanced, Payroll Elite, Bill Pay, and Time Tracking through Intuit Accountant Suite. Higher-tier partners will also gain access to advanced analytics tools that surface client insights and benchmark data available through Intuit Accountant Suite Accelerate.
5. Expanded education focused on advisory services: The program introduces a modernized education framework that goes beyond technical certifications to include advisory skills, client communication, and data interpretation. A built-in Training Manager enables firms to assign and track learning across teams, supporting the shift toward higher-margin client advisory services.
6. Community and talent development initiatives: Intuit is investing in community-building through peer workshops and a nationwide “Better Together Tour.” Additionally, a new U.S. Career Pipeline Program aims to train 1 million students in accounting and advisory skills over five years, connecting them directly with ProPartner firms and mentors.
