Dallas-based financial and business advisory firm Springline Advisory, which provides accounting and advisory services to the middle market, has added GBC Advisory, a full-service accounting firm in Norman, OK.

Springline, which officially launched in January 2024 with backing from Dallas private equity firm Trinity Hunt Partners, said Tuesday the partnership advances its commitment to building a network of culturally aligned firms with a people-first philosophy and a proven track record in complex industries.

Springline has also struck deals this year with Cg Advisory in New Jersey, SD Mayer in San Francisco, and Christy Paddock Advisors in Indianapolis.

For more than four decades, GBC has served the Oklahoma City metropolitan area, specializing in real estate, dealerships, banking, and high-net-worth private clients.

By joining Springline, GBC will maintain its local leadership while gaining institutional scale to accelerate both organic and inorganic growth, officials say. In turn, Springline will be collaborating with GBC’s high-demand service lines, including business valuation, litigation support, and specialized financial services for high-net-worth individuals and divorce-related matters.

“Joining Springline is a transformative step for our firm, our people, and the clients who have trusted us for years,” Ted Blodgett, managing partner of GBC Advisory, said in a statement on May 19. “There’s a unique entrepreneurial energy in the Oklahoma market, and our team at GBC has spent decades right at the heart of it. We’re excited to welcome in a fresh perspective and new set of tools to elevate our capabilities for the Oklahoma communities we serve, all while deepening our range of solutions for clients.”

Springline CEO Tim Brackney added, “When we look for partners, we’re looking for a shared cultural heartbeat. Ted and the GBC team built something special, and we’re excited to embrace our shared values of a people-first, client-first mentality. Springline looks forward to supporting their team as they grow while making sure the white-glove, neighborly service their clients love stays where it belongs: at the center of everything they do.”
