Following what it called “a successful early adopter program,” Wolters Kluwer Tax & Accounting said Wednesday that CCH Axcess Advisor is now commercially available to U.S. firms that are moving away from compliance‑centric work to an advisory‑led service model.

CCH Axcess Advisor is an AI-powered advisory solution designed to help accounting firms more easily identify, prioritize, and deliver high‑value advisory services—turning existing client data into immediate growth opportunities within their current workflows.

Wolters Kluwer provided early access availability for CCH Axcess Advisor to a group of firms—ranging from sole proprietors to large, national firms in the top 100—in its early adopter program last December.

Because the solution is embedded within the CCH Axcess platform, firms can begin identifying and acting on advisory opportunities immediately, without new workflows, manual data extraction, or additional tools, Wolters Kluwer said in a media release on May 13.

“CCH Axcess Advisor is designed to help firms turn insight into action,” Joel Morris, vice president and segment leader of the Tax & Accounting Research & Advisory group at Wolters Kluwer Tax & Accounting, said in a statement. “Firms already have significant advisory potential within their client data. With this launch, they gain a practical, scalable way to surface those opportunities, embed advisory into everyday workflows, and deliver deeper value with confidence using trusted expertise, integrated data, and Expert AI.”

Wolters Kluwer says CCH Axcess Advisor “is a growth enablement solution that helps tax professionals uncover advisory opportunities across their client base, estimate potential tax savings, and translate those insights into clearly defined engagements so they can guide client conversations with confidence.”

At the solution’s core is Wolters Kluwer Expert AI, which combines generative and agentic AI capabilities with expert‑curated content. This approach ensures firms receive intelligent insights and contextual guidance they can trust without sacrificing transparency or increasing risk, the company says.

Wolters Kluwer says it will continue expanding advisory workflows, Expert AI‑driven guidance, and integrated learning resources while also introducing advanced capabilities that allow firms to test, compare, and optimize advisory strategies through multiyear scenario modeling—supporting firmwide upskilling and long‑term advisory maturity.
