Top 30 accounting firm Weaver has acquired Mass Ingenuity, a Portland, OR‑based SaaS company focused on enterprise performance management, effective April 1.

Financial terms of the deal weren’t disclosed. As part of the transaction, Weaver will acquire Mass Ingenuity’s enterprise performance management platform, Results Software, and the related intellectual property.

Going forward, the business will operate as a separate Weaver legal entity, Mass Ingenuity LLC, and will continue operating under the Mass Ingenuity name for a period of time. The accounting firm will focus on bringing Results Software and the related consulting services to support Weaver’s clients across a broad range of industries.

Weaver says this deal expands its consulting capabilities by adding a proven SaaS platform that complements the firm’s advisory services. Weaver says it plans to leverage the Mass Ingenuity technology to serve both the public and private sectors across the U.S.

“This transaction reflects our continued investment in technology‑forward consulting services that help organizations improve performance and execution,” John Mackel, CEO and managing partner at Houston-based Weaver, said in a statement on April 3. “Mass Ingenuity strengthens our ability to support clients with enterprise performance management solutions that are scalable, data‑driven, and aligned with their strategic objectives.”

Founded in 2009, Mass Ingenuity has a long‑standing presence in the public sector and is known for its enterprise performance management technology designed to improve organizational alignment, transparency, and accountability.

Weaver and Mass Ingenuity have worked together on a number of projects over the past several years, and the transaction builds on that existing relationship, officials say.

“We’re proud of what Mass Ingenuity has achieved over 17 years and the impact we have made for our clients,” said Aaron Howard, Mass Ingenuity co-founder. “Weaver allows us to scale what we’ve built, combine our platform with deep advisory capabilities, and move even faster to deliver a new level of support for the organizations we serve.”
