Recent Career Highlights:
Helping to shape the future of the CPA profession continues to be both my responsibility and a shared mission with an incredible community of team members and volunteer leaders. This year, I led Maryland’s advocacy efforts to advance a new CPA pathway, working alongside national partners and engaging directly with legislators to keep the profession strong, accessible, and competitive. At MACPA, we deepened our focus on engagement as a growth engine, evolving programming and piloting new programs and membership models to better serve firms and finance professionals as business models shift. Through our Foundation, we grew scholarships and strengthened the student pipeline. I’m especially proud of how our team continues to lean into change—turning challenges around talent, technology, and regulation into opportunities to better connect, support, and future-ready our community.
Outreach Beyond the Firm:
I’m deeply committed to strengthening both the profession and the communities we serve. Through national committees, local advocacy, and ongoing thought leadership, I work to elevate the voice and relevance of CPAs. At MACPA, we create space for connection, mentorship, and shared learning, amplifying member voices and building community across roles and career stages.
Beyond the profession, I’m actively involved in my church and local business prayer groups, where I find purpose in serving, supporting others, and building meaningful relationships. Whether personally or professionally, my focus remains the same: serving others and using my work to reflect God’s glory.
