Career Highlights
This past year has been one of the most professionally rewarding of my career. I played a key role in scaling Aprio’s development organization, including expanding our Automation Development team and helping establish an AI Engineering function. As a member of Aprio’s internal AI Council, I help guide the firm’s AI strategy and execution, supporting the rollout of enterprise AI platforms and co-leading the development of proprietary AI solutions that enhance how we operate and serve clients.
I also represented Aprio externally as a thought leader, participating in panels, leading roundtables, and presenting at forums hosted by the IT Alliance (ITA), Microsoft, and Thomson Reuters, with a focus on application development, automation, and AI in accounting.
What are you doing to make a difference in the profession, your community or the world?
Outside of Aprio, I was appointed to the Thomson Reuters AI Coalition Board, where I collaborate with industry leaders to address shared challenges, exchange best practices, and help shape responsible AI adoption across the profession. I also lead a monthly AI in Accounting forum that brings together technology professionals to share insights and work through real-world challenges related to automation and AI.
In addition, I spend time mentoring early-career technology professionals and volunteering within my local community, with a focus on supporting professional growth and giving back.
