State CPA Society News & Updates is a selection of recent announcements and initiatives by CPA associations in the United States and its territories.
The Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants (TSCPA) has recently announced a strategic partnership with NABA, Inc. to support the talent pipeline in accounting, finance, and business across Tennessee. The collaboration will coordinate efforts and pool resources to serve members of both organizations, foster pathways and financial support for students pursuing careers in the profession and related fields, and jointly create programs that advance shared values.
By combining NABA’s expertise in developing business leaders from the time they are students through the executive level with TSCPA’s deep roots in Tennessee’s professional community, the organizations aim to build a stronger, more inclusive workforce that reflects the communities they serve.
“When organizations come together around shared purpose, the impact multiplies,” said Guylaine Saint Juste, President and CEO of NABA, Inc. “This partnership with TSCPA is about building pathways that will shape the profession for generations to come. Together, we’re creating opportunities for students across Tennessee to see themselves in accounting, finance, and business leadership, and giving them the resources and support to get there.”
Through this partnership, NABA and TSCPA will:
- Coordinate programs and initiatives to support student pathways into accounting and related fields
- Create mentoring and networking opportunities connecting students with industry leaders
- Develop joint programming to promote professional development and career advancement
As part of this collaboration, TSCPA becomes the first state CPA society to offer joint student membership with NABA, giving students expanded access to professional networks, resources, and career development opportunities at no additional cost.
