Sadman Dawla, an accountant for All-American Farms Inc. in Boynton Beach, FL, between 2016 and 2022, was sentenced Thursday to 18 years in prison for embezzling more than $5 million from the company.
The sentencing came three days after Dawla’s brother, Nesar Dawla, killed the co-owners of All-American Farms during a meeting where he was supposed to discuss the possibility of paying some restitution back to the company.
Officials have given no indication that Sadman Dawla knew his brother was planning the fatal ambush. Nesar Dawla killed himself a short time after the murders.
Palm Beach Circuit Court Judge Daliah Weiss said while Sadman Dawla pleaded guilty to the embezzlement charges without cutting a deal and had no prior criminal record, she felt compelled to sentence him above the minimum state guidelines (13.8 years) and above the prosecution’s recommendation (15 years) because of what she called the “exorbitant” amount of money stolen and the unlikelihood that most of it can reasonably be expected to be paid back.
The owners of the company were also brothers, Charles Geragi, 67, and Richard Geragi, 72, both of Delray Beach.

Legally, the judge could not consider the murder-suicide while imposing the sentence, and the issue did not come up except in veiled references to the emotional stakes of Thursday’s sentencing hearing.
All-American Farms filed a civil lawsuit against Nesar and Sadman Dawla and multiple other defendants who allegedly received unauthorized checks related to the fraud case in 2023.
In July 2025, the court ruled in favor of All-American Farms and ordered Sadman Dawla to pay $5,195,942.
The failure to make restitution was cited by the judge as the main reason she could not extend mercy at Thursday’s sentencing.
