Intuit announced on Thursday new artificial intelligence and agentic AI capabilities across Credit Karma and TurboTax, creating an all-in-one Consumer Platform that the company says “seamlessly delivers year-round control of personal finances powering better money outcomes.”
The Intuit Consumer Platform offers daily finance management and wealth optimization by predicting and automating actions across credit, debt, money management, wealth building, and tax preparation. Advanced agentic AI is paired with a nationwide network of 13,000 human experts to provide personalized guidance, Intuit said in a Nov. 6 media release.

“With over 75% of American households earning less than $100,000 annually and 57% of active Credit Karma members managing revolving debt, personal finances can feel overwhelming with no single resource for all money needs,” Mark Notarainni, executive vice president and general manager of the Consumer Group at Intuit, said in a statement. “We are automating the tedium out of finances, empowering consumers to spend less time wondering, worrying, or doing and more time confidently living their best lives. Intuit’s combination of TurboTax and Credit Karma is the only Consumer Platform that helps customers make better everyday financial decisions, then actively works in their best interest to find them more money, easier and faster.”
According to Intuit, the Consumer Platform delivers three core benefits:
1. Done-for-you experiences through AI-plus-human intelligence (AI+HI): Personalized guidance and money solutions that anticipate needs and get things done for the consumer, minimizing manual effort and maximizing financial results. This includes credit building, maximizing credit card rewards, and automatically crafting personalized wealth building and debt pay-down plans. Agentic AI-powered assistants and human experts understand unique tax situations and can take action for filers, guaranteeing the biggest refund without stress or manual data entry.
2. Trusted advice through local AI concierges and AI-powered tax experts: Year-round financial guidance, credit help, and expanded local tax expert support services help users achieve their money goals. This encompasses personalized debt pay-down, cashflow, and credit score optimization, as well as accessible in-person and virtual support from AI-matched local tax experts for consumers and small businesses through an expanded local presence at TurboTax stores and TurboTax Expert offices.
3. More money, faster: The Consumer Platform delivers more money in one place, ranging from helping members establish a credit history or pay off debt, to providing fast money options and getting refunds instantly.
New agentic AI assistants and AI+HI transform complicated financial tasks into done-for-you experiences that reduce stress, save time, and put more money in customers’ pockets year-round, Intuit said.
- Credit Spark: This credit builder turns everyday payments into prosperity for those who find traditional credit building inaccessible or are without traditional financial products. Credit Spark allows members to turn everyday payments like rent, utilities, and phone bills into credit-building activity—with no fee or debt. Sharing eligible payments with TransUnion, this tool helps members establish a credit history by allowing up to 24 months of past payments.
- My Cards: Credit Karma goes beyond helping consumers find the right credit card or loan; it helps members actively maximize rewards for the cards already in their wallet. With My Cards, members have a single place to manage their credit cards and get timely, personalized recommendations on spending patterns and expiring benefits, ensuring consumers take full advantage of their cards and capture rewards that often go unrealized.
- Debt Assistant (Coming Soon): Credit Karma’s Debt Assistant acts as an AI-powered automated debt strategist that analyzes a members’ finances then automatically crafts and delivers a personalized debt pay-down plan. It makes recommendations on consolidating, refinancing, and tackling high-interest debt.
- Tax Assistant: Credit Karma’s Tax Assistant transforms annual tax filing into ongoing, simple steps. Members with simple tax situations who answer easy, quick questions year-round can have up to 80% of their tax year 2025 taxes ready to go come tax time, Intuit said. Intuit’s AI-powered tax categorization eliminates manual entry by populating Credit Karma data into TurboTax, delivering a comprehensive tax filing experience.
- Refund Assistant (Coming Soon): When a customer receives their refund, the AI-powered Refund Assistant immediately gives personalized recommendations to pay off debt, build an emergency fund, build credit, or invest for the future.
- Automated Tax Filing: Intuit’s AI tax help saves customers invaluable time and “guarantees the best value and biggest refund,” the company said:
- Eliminate manual data entry: By leveraging generative AI, Intuit now automates data entry for 90% of the most commonly used tax forms, including complex 1040s and 1099 composites. AI automatically ingests tax forms directly from financial institutions, such as brokerage firms, eliminating work for taxpayers.
- Guaranteed maximum outcome: An Outcome Maximization Assistant analyzes millions of data sets to predict and identify potential deductions and credits, including state-specific ones, ensuring maximized tax outcomes. And for those filers looking for a tax expert to meet with in person or virtually, an AI Concierge is an intelligent navigator to help connect with an expert suited to their situation.
- Cost basis adjustment assistant: Simplifying complicated calculations, this assistant saved customers an average of 50 clicks and lowered their taxable income by a median increase of $12,000 during its pilot phase, Intuit said.
- AI agents for businesses and side hustlers (Coming Soon): Handling the complex categorization required for business income, the Business Expense Maximization Assistant can import and understand unstructured spreadsheets and categorize expenses according to IRS guidelines, while the Income Qualification Assistant helps customers easily categorize their income and file with confidence.

“Getting money fast is a game-changer”
“With 58% of Americans struggling with cash flow, getting money fast is a game-changer,” Notarainni said. “When it comes to money, our customers want to grow it, access it easily and quickly, and get the best value. Intuit’s Consumer Platform delivers this by providing multiple ways to get their hands on cash sooner and actively help them master their cash flow.”
For the upcoming tax season, the Consumer Platform provides multiple ways for customers to get their hands on cash sooner and maximize their financial potential, according to Intuit:
