This year, the NYU School of Professional Studies (NYU SPS) Division of Programs in Business Finance and Taxation will bring its 84th Institute on Federal Taxation (IFT) to the Westin New York at Times Square, October 19–25, and to the Fairmont Hotel in San Francisco, November 16–21.
Designed for professionals who handle federal tax matters, the IFT provides high-level updates, insights, analyses, and practical advice from America’s top tax authorities on the latest federal tax trends and developments.
The NYU SPS has been a leader in continuing professional education for more than 90 years. The School blends NYU’s scholarly resources with the knowledge and practical experience of the world-class professional community that surrounds it. The School’s longstanding tradition of excellence in continuing legal, accounting, and taxation programs attracts the best and brightest speakers, who impart their knowledge of the most current industry trends and regulations.
The six-day IFT events feature in-depth panel discussions on the latest tax strategies, legislative updates, and planning techniques. Topics include current developments in tax controversies, corporate taxation, partnerships, LLCs, real estate, international tax, trusts and estates, executive compensation, employee benefits, closely held businesses, and ethical transactions.
