Deloitte has launched Scout, an artificial intelligence-driven learning assistant designed to personalize professional development and advance how Deloitte US professionals learn and grow, the Big Four accounting firm announced on Oct. 1.
Deloitte said that Scout is intended to strengthen both human and technology skills, pairing AI precision with a human-centered approach to growth, continuing to support the firm’s professionals as they build skills, confidence, and the capacity to lead.

“At Deloitte, learning is core to our culture and fuels growth for our people, our organization, and our clients. We’re committed to investing in innovative technologies that make development more personalized, dynamic and accessible,” Deloitte US CEO Jason Girzadas said in a statement.
Scout is focused on the growing need for continuous, personalized learning and can help connect Deloitte professionals with market-differentiating learning assets and experiences, the firm said.
Key features of Scout include:
- Delivering a tailored learning experience based on an individual’s role, past learning activity, content preferences, and development goals.
- Surfacing actionable answers to learning questions in seconds, adapting to each user’s style and keeping development on track with timely nudges.
- Supporting growth at key career moments—such as stepping into a new role or taking on expanded responsibilities—whether upskilling for a project or exploring a new capability.
- Enabling large-scale upskilling and reskilling and providing predictive learning insights—all aligned with Deloitte’s omnichannel learning vision.
- Helping Deloitte’s professionals take ownership of their growth, continuing to foster confidence in learning and guiding the development of the organization’s next generation of leaders.
“With Scout, we’re helping our people access the right learning at the right time, tailored to their roles and goals,” said Anthony Stephan, chief learning officer at Deloitte US. “By using AI to surface relevant content and adaptive learning pathways, Scout is intended to make learning easier, more accessible, and more closely aligned to the demands of each professional’s role. This can enable our people to respond to market changes even more quickly and continue to build skills to meet client needs. As technology evolves, we intend to continue investing in learning that delivers real value for our people and clients.”
Scout is a key innovation coming out of Project 120, Deloitte’s $1.4 billion investment in its people. Future phases of Scout are expected to expand beyond content delivery to foster even greater connection across the organization, the firm said.
Upcoming enhancements are planned to introduce features that promote social learning, increase peer-to-peer collaboration, and help Deloitte’s professionals identify and connect with colleagues based on shared skills, learning needs, or project demands.
