Calvetti Ferguson Acquires Randy Walker & Co. in Texas

Calvetti Ferguson has added San Antonio, TX-based Randy Walker & Co., a move that adds specialized nonprofit audit services and depth to the top 200 accounting firm's existing San Antonio team.

Calvetti Ferguson has acquired San Antonio, TX-based Randy Walker & Co., a move that adds specialized nonprofit audit services and depth to the top 200 accounting firm’s existing San Antonio team.

Financial terms of the deal weren’t disclosed. Twenty-three employees from Randy Walker & Co. will join Houston-based Calvetti Ferguson.

This acquisition marks a significant step in expanding Calvetti Ferguson’s service offerings, said Jason Ferguson, the firm’s managing partner.

“We’re adding a dedicated nonprofit audit practice to our firm, bringing new expertise to our team, and strengthening our ability to serve nonprofit organizations,” he said in a statement. “With a notable increase to our San Antonio workforce, we’re deepening our roots and strengthening our investment in the Central Texas region.”

Randy Walker & Co. is a full-service public accounting firm that provides audit and tax services to nonprofit organizations, tax services to small businesses and high-net-worth individuals, and consulting services, including QuickBooks, for small businesses and nonprofits.

Calvetti Ferguson’s last M&A deal was in December 2023 when it added Dallas-based CPA firm Gummer Group.
