The American Society of Women Accountants Educational Foundation (The Foundation) Awards, sponsored by Accountemps and Robert Half Finance & Accounting, provide recognition to individuals, companies and groups in the areas of Accounting and Finance expertise, work/life balance and financial literacy.

Do your professional accomplishments and achievements distinguish you in the financial industry? Have you demonstrated leadership and mentored others? Are you committed and involved in your community? Do you know anyone else who fits the description above? If so, you or someone you know may be eligible for one of the ASWA Educational Foundation’s several Influential Woman of the Year Awards. We will be selecting six regional winners in this category who will then be nominated for the national Influential Woman of the Year Award.

And don’t forget to consider your company for a Balance Award! Does your company demonstrate sensitivity to women? Does it provide leadership and mentoring opportunities for women? Does your company show concern for financial issues facing its community? Has it implemented policies, initiatives and programs that promote work-life balance? If your company or one that you know of demonstrates these outstanding qualities, they are eligible for one of the Foundation’s Balance Awards.

The Foundation also recognizes with its Financial Literacy Award, an individual or group that has supported their community by teaching a Financial Literacy program.

Nominate yourself, a colleague, your firm or a group of financial literacy providers by filling out the “Call for Award Nominees” form. The deadline to apply is June 30th.
