State CPA Society News & Updates is a selection of recent announcements and initiatives by CPA associations in the United States and its territories.

The California Society of CPAs (CALCPA) is offering early bird pricing until May 14, 2026 for its annual Entertainment Industry Conference, which is being held in Los Angeles at Above the Block on June 26, 2026.

Early pricing for CAPCPA members is $405, with nonmember pricing $545. To learn more about the conference or to register, visit the events page on the CALCPA website.

The Washington Society of Certified Public Accountants (WSCPA) will be holding its annual WSCPA Membership Summit on Wednesday, June 3, 2026. The Summit will take place at the Meydenbauer Center in Bellevue Washington.

The Summit is free to all WSCPA members, but registration is required.

The Idaho Society of Certified Public Accountants (ISCPA) will be holding its Annual Meeting, which will take place on June 15, 2026 at the Riverside Hotel in Boise, ID. ISCPA members can attend the meeting at no cost, with non-member pricing $325. To learn more about the Meeting or to register, visit the ISCPA Annual Meeting page.

The Montana Society of CPAs (MTCPA) has opened registration for the 113th Annual Conference: True North. The two-day conference will take place Thursday, June 18 and Friday, June 19 at the Grouse Mountain Lodge, in Whitefish, MT.

The Nebraska Society of CPAs (NESCPA) has opened nominations for four awards, with recipients chosen by a special Awards Selection Committee. Those selected will be recognized during the Society’s Annual Meeting in the late fall.

The categories are:

  • Distinguished Service to the Profession Award
  • Public Service Award
  • Outstanding Accounting Educator Award
  • Outstanding CPA in Business & Industry Award

The Tennessee Society of CPAs (TSCPA) has opened registration for its 95th Annual Meeting and Convention, which will take place at the Isle of Palms in South Carolina from June 9 to June 12, 2026. The event will include an opening reception and annual banquet, along with a golf tournament, and family activities.

Pricing for the event is $845 for members with a non-member price of $965, with $50 off for those registering before May 27, 2026.

The Texas State Society of CPAs (TXCPA) will be hosting the Annual Meeting of Members 2026 at Signia by Hilton Las Cantera Resort and Spa in San Antonio, Texas, with events open to all TXCPA members. The Annual Meeting begins on Wednesday, June 24 through Friday, June 26, 2026. For more information and registration information, download the meeting notice.

The Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants (MOCPA) will be holding its Annual Members Convention June 4 -5, 2026 at Camden on the Lake Resort in Lake Ozark, Missouri.

Member pricing for the Convention is $435 with a non-member price of $535. For more information on the Convention or to register, visit the Annual Members Convention page.

The Wisconsin Institute of Certified Public Accountants (WICPA) will be holding the New CPA Banquet on June 12, 2026. The banquet is held to honor all newly licensed Wisconsin CPAs.
