The CPA Endowment Fund of Illinois, the charitable partner of the Illinois CPA Society (ICPAS), is pleased to announce its board of directors for the April 1, 2026, to March 31, 2027, fiscal year.
The board welcomes new directors Andrea J. McDermott, CPA, of Grant Thornton LLP, and Brian J. Blaha, CPA, of Winding River Consulting.
“As a former beneficiary of the scholarship programs the CPA Endowment Fund of Illinois provides, continuing to serve as chair of its board is a responsibility I take great pride in,” says Jason Parish, CPA, partner at Plante Moran PLLC. “This organization helps shape career paths, and I’m lucky to have such committed directors working alongside me to open more doors for aspiring CPAs. With the ongoing support of our generous donors, we’ll continue to make a positive impact on a profession in need of new talent by expanding the scholarships, resources, and mentorship opportunities the next generation of accounting talent needs to succeed.”
During the last fiscal year, contributions from more than 960 donors enabled the CPA Endowment Fund of Illinois to award more than $345,000 in scholarships and supported approximately 440 accounting students and future CPAs through specialized programs and resources.
