This partnership brings together two firms with closely aligned values, a shared commitment to community, and a long-standing focus on delivering exceptional client service, said Joseph Mocciaro, managing partner at Bowers.

“Our team has long admired the role Sciarabba Walker has played in the Ithaca community. For nearly 50 years, they’ve been a trusted partner to the businesses and people they serve, and we’re proud to carry that legacy forward together.” Mocciaro said in a statement. “Their dedication to service and community impact aligns perfectly with who we are. Together, we are excited to expand opportunities for clients in the Ithaca region while continuing to support the growth of the communities we serve in Syracuse, Rochester, and Watertown.”
Founded in 1976, Sciarabba Walker provides comprehensive accounting, tax, and consulting services.
Bowers says the deal expands its depth of support available to clients, including broader advisory capabilities, additional local experience, and a stronger team across New York state, all while maintaining the personalized service clients expect.
“This partnership is a natural fit,” said Dave Iles, managing partner of Sciarabba Walker who will take over as partner in charge of Bowers’ new Ithaca office. “We are pleased to join Bowers and look forward to the opportunities this creates for our team and clients.”
Founded in 1977, Bowers provides proactive guidance and tailored solutions across tax services, audit and assurance, and client accounting and advisory services.
