Career highlights from the past year

  • I am a regular contributor to the AICPA Town Hall series, which has grown to over 13,000 participants on a regular basis in 2025. This touchpoint with so many in the profession provides an opportunity to keep them up to date on many of the hottest issues and to showcase innovative practices that can shape the future of accounting firms.
  • Through my role as VP-Firm Services, I provide strategic direction to the PCPS Transforming Your Business Model initiative, that helps firm leaders challenge their operating models through the lens of strategy, governance, talent, service offerings and technology.
  • Through the PCPS team and it’s volunteer leadership, my team provides practice management best practices and insights through benchmarking surveys, podcasts, thought leadership and other channels to help firms, especially small firms, adapt to a fast-changing landscape.
  • My team convenes leaders from across the country and firm size spectrum as well as other key stakeholders to strengthen peer networks, share profession updates and create engagement with the AICPA
  • In addition, my teams work to drive increased interest in the profession and to support emerging professionals in their careers through tailored resources and events.

Outreach in the profession beyond my own firm

  • I frequently provide profession updates and practice-transformation presentations for state societies, firm associations, and other stakeholder groups.
  • Ongoing engagement with the AICPA Town Hall audience, which includes members in tax, audit, CAS, business and industry and other aspects of the profession to share timely policy, technical, and practice-management insights.
  • I participate as an advisor in the AICPA & CPA.com startup accelerator program which allows me to provide firm insights to technology vendors in the accounting and finance space and to help finance and accounting professionals know about technology developments.
