  • Describe your outreach in the accounting profession beyond your own firm

This year, my outreach across the accounting profession focused on education, connection and giving back. I served as Vice President of The Accounting Cornerstone Foundation for the third year, supporting initiatives that strengthen the profession by providing all-expense paid scholarships to individual accounting professionals to attend their first industry conference. I also shared insights and practical guidance as a guest across a wide range of podcast and webinar platforms, including Bookkeepers on Fire, the Unbalanced Podcast, Accounting Today, the BDO CAS Summit, CPAacademy, MyCPE One, and Practice Success with KC Brothers.

These engagements allowed me to reach firm owners, bookkeepers, and accounting professionals at different stages of their careers, contributing to meaningful conversations about the future of the profession and the work we do every day. In addition to being a guest on others’ platforms, I was the cohost for The ‘Appy Hour with Liz Scott and the Woodard Report Podcast with Joe Woodard.
