Career highlights from the past year

This past year has been shaped by the firms and leaders I’ve had the opportunity to work alongside and support. Being involved as strategies took shape, changes were implemented, and leadership capacity grew made the work both challenging and rewarding.
• Strategic planning: Helped firms clarify their vision and translate it into actionable strategies, staying engaged throughout the year to support execution and celebrate progress.
• Process improvement: Worked with firms using process improvement to strengthen adaptability in the midst of rapid technology and to align with a one-firm approach and a culture of continuous improvement.

• Change management: Supported leaders in shifting from managing organizational change to leading individual change, reinforcing that progress only happens when people do things differently.
• Leadership development: Partnered with firms committed to developing leaders at all levels, from emerging leaders to managing partners, with a focus on core success skills and ongoing learning.
• Speaking and facilitation: Spoke at industry events and facilitated conversations that allowed participants to learn from one another and benefit from the collective experience in the room.

Outreach in the accounting profession beyond your own firm
The majority of my work is focused beyond our own company. We work exclusively with CPA firms to help them become sustainably successful and future-ready.
My outreach centers on bringing leaders together to learn, share, and grow. By creating space for connection and shared learning, leaders gain perspective they can take back to their firms to improve strategy, leadership, and culture.

Podcasts, books, blogs, websites, or publications for professional development
When I want to learn or think through something, I prefer to slow down with a book and reflect on the ideas.
Books I return to most often:

• ADKAR by Jeffrey Hiatt
• Leading Change by John Kotter
• Switch by Chip and Dan Heath
• Come Up for Air by Nick Sonnenberg

I have also been reading more health-related books, including Outlive by Peter Attia, because health and wellness play a meaningful role in how we show up professionally.
