New York City-based tax and financial advisory platform Harness has launched its Tax Advisor Tech Survey, designed to capture a clear, data-driven picture of how today’s tax and accounting firms are leveraging technology and where the biggest gaps, opportunities, and needs still exist.
In the survey introduction, Harness says:
As the industry becomes more complex and client expectations continue to rise, firms are being challenged to operate with greater efficiency, smarter capacity planning, and stronger integration across their tools and workflows.
By sharing your experience, you’re helping shape a deeper understanding of what empowers firms to succeed: which tools meaningfully reduce manual work, where integrations break down, how AI is (or isn’t) being adopted, and what obstacles still prevent firms from modernizing their practices. Your insights will highlight what’s working, what’s not, and what firms most want to improve in the year ahead.
Our goal at Harness is simple: to elevate the industry by identifying the solutions and strategies that truly move the needle so firms of all sizes can operate with more efficiency, better client experiences, and greater capacity.
According to Harness, individual responses are anonymous, and all respondents will be entered into a raffle to win a $500 Amazon gift card.
The platform said it will share the full results with participants once the survey closes.
Results of the survey are expected to be released sometime in January 2026.
