PKF O’Connor Davies Brings in Wolf Maryles & Associates in NYC

New York City-based boutique tax and financial advisory firm Wolf Maryles & Associates will join PKF O'Connor Davies in a deal that takes effect on Jan. 1, 2026, the top 30 accounting firm said on Tuesday.

New York City-based boutique tax and financial advisory firm Wolf Maryles & Associates will join PKF O’Connor Davies in a deal that takes effect on Jan. 1, 2026, the top 30 accounting firm said on Tuesday.

Financial terms of the deal weren’t disclosed. Once the transaction closes, PKF O’Connor Davies will add a team of 11 Wolf Maryles professionals, led by Managing Member Shimon Wolf.

Harrison, NY-based PKF O’Connor Davies said the integration further expands its private client service offering and deepens its ability to deliver tailored tax and financial management advisory services to high-net-worth individuals and families.

For more than 25 years, Wolf Maryles has partnered closely with clients to navigate every stage of tax and financial planning. The firm is widely recognized for guiding clients through sophisticated tax and wealth transfer strategies. Its team includes CPAs and professionals with advanced degrees in tax and accounting.

In November 2024, the firm announced it was getting an infusion of capital from Bahrain-based private equity group Investcorp and the Public Sector Pension Investment Board (PSP Investments), one of Canada’s largest pension investment managers.

The top 30 accounting firm said at the time that the injection of outside funding will “elevate its competitiveness and amplify long-term sustainability” and “provide flexibility for increased M&A activity, as well as investing in cutting-edge technology and new service lines.”

PKF O’Connor Davies’ last M&A deal was this past June when it acquired Rainer & Co., a regional CPA firm with offices in Newtown Square and West Chester in Pennsylvania.
