CPA Practice Advisor has announced the sessions, speakers and sponsors for this year’s Ensuring Success conference, the largest free online CPE and IRS CE event for accounting and tax professionals. This year’s event will be held Dec. 10 and Dec. 11, 2025, with seven free educational sessions each day.

The event is free for professionals – all sessions qualify for one hour of certified CPE credit in various fields of study, while five of the tax-focused sessions also offer an hour each of CE credit for enrolled agents. The IRS CE sessions are numbers 6, 8, 9, 12 and 14, listed below.

Attendees only need to register once, and then can watch and participate in all or their choice of 14 sessions across both days, earning up to 14 hours of CPE or up to 5 hours of IRS CE. Professionals can log in all day, or for only the sessions or fields of study they need, or those that fit their schedule availability.

The conference was originated by Gail Perry, a CPA, technology journalist, and author of more than 30 books. When she joined CPA Practice Advisor as editor-in-chief in 2014, she brought the conference with her, and has seen its audience grow significantly.

“The goal of this conference was, and still is, to bring cutting-edge ideas and conversations to a wider audience within the accounting profession – to the people who don’t necessarily attend national conferences where many of our presenters speak,” explained Perry. “We began with an audience of just over 250 attendees in our first year. Now we reach several thousand each year and continue to grow.”

The annual conference has been ongoing for 14 years. The online educational event is unique in that, while professionals attend the sessions online at their office, home, or other location, the presenters of each session all gather live in a broadcast studio in Dallas, Texas. The two-day conference is produced by AMS Pictures, a comprehensive professional video production company that has produced notable films, television shows, documentaries, and national commercials.

This two-day virtual live CPE event is able to remain free for professionals thanks to the support of our 2025 sponsors: ADP, Avalara, Canopy, CPA.com, Digits, eFile4Biz, Fieldguide, Karbon, Qount, Rightworks, SafeSend, Suralink, Value Insights, Wolters Kluwer and Xero.
