Zuora, a monetization platform for businesses, announced Tuesday its new AI-ready monetization offering, the Zuora Monetization Catalog, designed to help accounting and finance teams evolve pricing, packaging, and revenue models while maintaining clean, auditable financial records.
As companies introduce more flexible and AI-driven offerings, traditional systems struggle to support dynamic monetization without manual workarounds or risk to financial accuracy, the Redwood City, CA-based company says. Zuora’s Monetization Catalog provides a centralized, consistent foundation for modern revenue models, enabling teams to deploy:
- Dynamic pricing: Capture more revenue with pricing that adapts based on attributes such as customer type, region, and usage.
- Bundles: Combine products, matching each customer’s needs and business context to the right solution.
- Features and entitlements: Define and track access to capabilities across plans, add-ons, and bundles—unlocking the ability to monetize at the feature level and upsell flexibly.
- Unified logic across channels: Apply the same product rules across storefronts, CPQ (configure, price, quote), billing, and revenue, eliminating reconciliation.
- Usage-based pricing and rating: Tiers, volume, overage, and prepaid/commit blocks with proper rating and revenue treatment, without custom code.
- AI-ready by design: Tag metadata for AI discoverability, and lay groundwork for future AI pricing optimization, all usable by large language models and internal copilots.
