Stories that inspire

From Denver to Detroit, associates shared powerful moments of connection and impact:

  • In St. Louis, Missouri, Whitney Fossum helped pack and sort food with her teammates at the STL Foodbank. “Putting together all those fresh food donations is simple work, but it does a world of good in our area for those who need it.”
  • In Portland, Maine, Blake Potter and her teammates cleaned out stables and barns for the Maine State Society for the Protection of Animals. “These horses need a lot of care, and rolling up our sleeves to do some dirty work was a great reset for me.”
  • Heather Noto in Green Bay, Wisconsin, spent the day at Habitat for Humanity’s ReStore sorting and cleaning donated home goods. “Every item we sort or shelf helps someone in need — that’s a good way to spend a day.”

Investing in impact

The Wipfli Foundation gifted more than $106,000 to associates through its Community Support Program, empowering them to donate to nonprofits of their choosing. This initiative reflects the firm’s belief that service is not just a value — but a responsibility.

Wipfli’s community involvement spans decades and includes partnerships with organizations like Habitat for Humanity, Feeding America and Native American Connections. Associates are encouraged to find volunteer opportunities that align with their passions — from food banks and shelters to tribal and veteran groups.
